The Turner Syndrome Society of Mexico AC would like to be the next hostess of the 9th International Congress of Turner syndrome, to encourage the participation of Latin American countries and strengthen the bonds of existing partnerships worldwide

Previous Congresses have been taken place in Europe and Asia, so we believe it would be a wonderful opportunity to have the next congress in Mexico in order to give an opportunity to all central and Latin American countries to come.

The Turner Syndrome Society of Mexico AC was founded on 14 January 2002, we have more than 300 people all around the country. During this period we have had five national conferences with 250 participants between patients and families. We have very good doctors and good experiences in the country.

Mexico has the infrastructure to receive all people to come around the world. We are thinking that Congress can take place in Cancun, Guadalajara or Queretaro. These are safe places with many tourist attractions.

We have contacts with the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Tourism and laboratories like Pfizer, Merck Serono and Elly Lilli, onces Mexico is officially the next organizer seek sponsorships for the conference.

On the subject of the congress we think "we are not only one X chromosome", would seek medical issues of interest to all participants and ask the support and advice of all associations who have organized previous congresses to find the subjects and international guests to make presentations at the conference.

In Mexico City we give a great importance to the social and emotional subjects, so that would be one of the main aspects of the congress.
