It is with great regret that, due to the Corona Virus- Covid 19 Pandemic, we have to announce that the TSI 2020 Conference is cancelled.

Many years of hard work by the TSI 2020 committee have gone into organising this event and after looking at a variety of options to postpone or reschedule, we are left very disappointed that cancellation has been our only option.   Our first priority MUST be the health and wellbeing of all our Speakers, Delegates and Guests, and taking into consideration the complex needs we were catering for and the requirements of those with TS having to shield or requiring strict social distancing, we just could not find a suitable alternative. 

We are not sure if we will be able to re-schedule the conference at some date in the future given the current situation with worldwide restrictions on social interaction, and that many of our speakers are required for frontline healthcare services.   Hopefully, at a time when we understand what life will be like post Corona Virus - Covid 19 we can do something to allow us all to meet again.

We are pleased however to tell you that despite conference and gala dinner payments being non-refundable, after discussions with Stirling Venues they have agreed as a gesture of goodwill to refund payments already made, for both accommodation and dinner.  These refunds may take a few weeks to process so please be patient. 

Details of how this will happen are listed below: 

Step 1 - Please be patient and allow up to 4 weeks for your refund to go back to your bank debit or credit card.  Check your statement for the refund.  Please do not contact Stirling Venues before the 1st of June 2020.  If by then you have not received your refund, contact them directly on This email address is being protected from spambots. The TSSS (UK) would like to thank you all for your patience while we sorted everything out, and to extend our grateful thanks to all our Speakers, Sponsors and TSI planning committee for all their support. Our special thanks you to Paula, and the team at Stirling Venues for their help with the preparation for the TSI 2020 Conference, and their support with refunds.

Step 2 - If you have already paid your Conference Registration, or to attend the "Meet the Experts Conference" via Eventbrite, the TSSS (UK) will arrange refunds for this. Look out for an e-mail from Eventbrite or the TSSS (UK) please allow up to 4 weeks, please be patient.

We are all disappointed at the moment, but the wellbeing of our worldwide TS family is a priority, as we are nothing without our health.
